A Maine man nearly got busted because his tattoo artist did a bang-up job – of inking him with a gun so real-looking that cops almost arrested him for packing heat.
Michael Smith was awakened by noisy landscapers on Tuesday morning and went out to yell at them, but he forgot to put a shirt on, giving them a clear view of a tattoo that resembles a handgun on his hip. The noise stopped, so Smith went back to bed – only to be woken up again, this time by a fully-armed SWAT team sent to nab him for the so-called weapon.
The officers soon saw that the stink was caused by mere ink, so the situation was quickly defused, much to the relief of Smith, who said, “I got plans today. I didn’t want to get shot."
