Fans were caught off guard when Eminem revealed that he was on both Grindr and Tinder in a recent interview with Vulture. Now, Team Slim Shady has come forward to clear the air about his dating app usage, which also sheds light on his sexuality since, well, Grindr is for gay men.
In a statement to Metro's The Muse, representatives for the rapper admitted that he "was joking about using both Tinder and Grindr." We should have known better, especially after Em's public display of humor throughout his career, but, honestly, you just never know in 2017.
In related news, Eminem recently made history as his newest album, Revival, landed atop the Billboard 200 albums chart, which makes him the first act to have eight chart entries in a row bow at the No. 1 spot. As per Billboard, Revival opened with 267,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending December 21, according to Nielsen Music.
