Animal Shelters In Need Of Blankets And Towels To Keep Pups Warm

posted by Letty B -

Friends it is that time of year.  As temperatures are dropping, it's getting colder out and most animal shelters are outdoor kennels.  The poor pups that are there spend their nights outside in the cold concrete kennels.  The shelters are always in need of blankets and towels to keep them warm but especially more so now during  the colder months.

If you're going to be cleaning out your place for the new year or thinking about throwing some old stuff out you can donate it!! The shelters are in need of new or used blankets and towels, so if you have some around the house that you need to get rid of, just drop them off at your nearest animal shelter.  You can also find good deals on cheap blankies at some stores like K-mart, Big Lots, 99 Cents stores.  No matter where you live in L.A there's a shelter near you that could use the help.  Here's the list of shelters where you can drop off your donations:

Downey Animal Care Center

Lancaster Animal Care Center

Baldwin Park Animal Care Center

Lancaster Animal Care Center

Imperial County Humane Society

Carson/Gardena Animal Care Center

Palmdale Animal Care Center
