’Tis the season … of gift returns.

Well, I was able to get the best gift ever, my daughter Ahlivia.. so nothing to return this year.. But in case you have something you want to switch out.. you should know the day after Christmas is not a good day to do it. Stay home and play Fortnite with the kids!

According to the National Retail Foundation, two-thirds of shoppers make a return over the holiday season. If you want to avoid crowds and headaches when making those returns, experts say arrive at stores right at opening time – usually 10 a.m. Sunday mornings are the slowest time at stores – if you want to make it even easier. Today, December 26th, is one of the worst days for returning gifts – since lots of people rush out to make their returns immediately. New Year’s Day is a good day to make returns, though -- since most people lay low on New Year’s Day after being out on New Year’s Eve. (Reader’s Digest)
