Blake Shelton on Luke Bryan's Success: 'He's Fooled Fans to the Max'

Luke Bryan has struck it gold, and Blake Shelton has an idea why.

BS spoke to CMT’s Cody Alan at Luke’s recent Crash My Playa concert in Mexico and revealed exclusively why he thinks Luke has come to be one of country music’s biggest superstars.

“Let’s face it. There’s never been anybody luckier in not only life but especially the country music industry,” Blake deadpans of the “Most People Are Good” singer. “That guy has fooled the fans to the max. He’s very popular, and we’re all wondering... You know you lay awake at night going, ‘How did he do this?’ Because he’s weird.”

The country music jokester goes on to say he returned to Crash My Playa for the second-straight year only to “bring some order and structure” to the four-day event.

Blake kicks off his own Country Music Freaks Tour February 15 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
