Cardi B Files Docs To Own TV Series, Alcohol Named 'Bocktails'

Cardi B's money moves have reached the realm of television, or at least the hip-hop titan is hoping to do so.

On Wednesday (May 22), TMZ reported that Bardi has filed legal documents to own the title, "Bocktais with Cardi B." As per the premise of the project, the rapper wants to seek "entertainment services in the nature of providing ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists." However, it goes beyond just that. She wants exclusivity over the name on apparel, including shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, hats, caps, footwear, skirts, dresses, blouses, sweaters, pants and shorts. To really pack the punch, she has also requested that the title be used for "alcoholic beverages, except beer and beverages containing beer."

In related news, Bardi has had to cancel the rest of her May concerts due to complications from her plastic surgery procedures. Insiders told the entertainment celebrity website, her condition has regressed so much that the rapper simply cannot perform, which is what her doctors have been recommending for weeks. As per the 26-year-old star's surgeons, she needs time to let the swelling go down and for her body to fully recover after her recent surgeries. Doctors are reportedly recommending she rest for a few weeks. Earlier in May, Bardi was open about her recent liposuction session during her performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. "I should have canceled today," she said. "I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo. But b*tch, I’m still gonna get my motherf**king money back, let's go!"
