Kate Middleton Regretted Her Christmas Outfit For A Relatable Reason

It was a milestone holiday season for the royal family this year. Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their Christmas debut on the walk from Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham Estate to Saint Mary Magdalene Church for mass. The young royals got all dressed up for the special occasion and greeted royal watchers who lined up outside the church to catch a glimpse of them.

While Prince George and Princess Charlotte definitely stole the show, Kate Middleton looked as chic as ever in a heavy grey Catherine Walker coat, which she paired with a green fascinator. Kate and Charlotte even coordinated their outfits for the festive holiday outing.

Despite looking absolutely fabulous, Kate actually revealed she regretted her choice of outfit for Christmas mass. The Duchess of Cambridge spoke candidly to 19-year-old royal watcher Rachel Anvil about how she wish she had chosen a different ensemble. Rachel's mother told Metro "Kate was talking to my daughter about clothes and how she was feeling too hot. She said, 'I really shouldn’t have worn this.'"

Rachel and her mother also spoke with 4-year-old Charlotte about all her dolls. "It wasn’t fake; it was a genuine discussion. It was about a minute, but it was tailored to my daughter, it was like speaking to a friend. They are totally different with the public [than the press]," they said.

Duchesses..they're just like us. Even they have sartorial regret every once in a while!
