Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Put Up Privacy Screens Around Their L.A. Home

After officially stepping down from their roles in the Royal Family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles with their son Archie. While they look for a home of their own, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been staying in Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles mansion. The one downside to their temporary digs is the lack of privacy. In an effort to shield their home from paparazzi and passersby on a nearby hiking trail, Harry and Meghan have begun putting up "privacy screens" around their yard.

In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, workmen can be seen putting the screens up around the Sussex family's pool area. The photos certainly make a case for the Harry and Meghan's decision to utilize the screens in an effort to live a more private life with their son.

The privacy screens aren't the only measure Harry and Meghan have taken to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in their new home. The Duke and Duchess reportedly have a high level of security for their Beverly Ridge lodging. “Beverly Ridge has its own guarded gate and Tyler’s property has a gate of its own, which is watched by their security team," a source told the Daily Mail. "Beverly Ridge is an excellent place to keep out of view. The neighbors are mostly old money and mega rich business types rather than show business gossips. It goes without saying that the location is stunning—just one of the most beautiful and desirable areas in L.A.”

Harry and Meghan reportedly hope to one day find their own home in Malibu, which has deep familial significance for the Duke. Princess Diana reportedly wanted to move to Malibu with Harry and Prince William following her divorce from Prince Charles. According to her former butler, the California beach town appealed to Princess Diana because of how private the location is. Tragically, Princess Diana wasn't able to fulfill that dream, however, it looks like Harry just might.
