Gov. Newsom Is Pushing For New Gun Laws After The Texas School Shooting

Today Governor Gavin Newsom and legislative leaders held a press conference to talk about "efforts to expedite legislation to protect communities from gun violence," after the mass shooting that occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas yesterday.

"There are no words that can add...we're here not to add to the rhetoric, but to advance our resolve," said Newsom. He asked for the California legislature to send gun-control related bills to his desk to sign by the end of next month. Go to KTLA 5 for more.
