Girl Scout cookie season has begun! That means you might have to cheat on your New Year's diet and buy some Thin Mints from your local girl scout. One Girl Scout in particular took her selling strategy to another level.
A San Diego Girl Scout made headlines after she started selling her cookies at a local marijuana dispensary, the Urbn Leaf. Seems like a wining strategy, when you think about those cravings people get after visiting a shop like the Urbn Leaf.
In an interview with the Girl Scout's father, he revealed that his daughter sold more than 300 boxes in the span of about six hours. Not bad. The little girl also got some free advertisement as the shop posted a picture of her on their Instagram with the caption, “Get some Girl Scout Cookies with your GSC today until 4 p.m.!"
While the Girl Scouts of America don't necessarily condone their girls selling at dispensaries, the San Diego Girl Scout did not break any official rules.
Let's hope she's the top selling in her local troop.
