Every once in a while your Facebook feed features something that you disagree with or just don't like. Seemingly since its creation, people on Facebook have cried for a dislike button and it seems like those prayers have been answered. Well sort of......
Facebook started running a feature in which a select number of users in the US could down vote posts and statuses of other users. While this pretty much seems like a dislike button, reps from Facebook have stated that the purpose of the button is, "to give us feedback about comments on public page posts." This new feature is essentially for users to flag things that might be offensive, inappropriate, or misleading.
With that being said, it seems like we might have to keep waiting for a REAL dislike button.
