No Work on Monday's?

Manic Mondays … Here’s something to consider as we head into the weekend – especially a weekend when we lose an hour of sleep. A “healer” says humans aren’t meant to work on Mondays.

"Monday is an important day for healing," Mariya Nurislamova shared on TikTok. "If you push, push, push through Monday, if you pressure yourself into anything on Monday," your focus "goes into pressuring and forcing yourself back into the work week," rather than into "the healing process." Her advice? Don’t work on Mondays.

While that can’t happen for most of us, she may have a point. A 2021 survey found that 62% of full-time workers said Monday was the worst day of the week, with people, on average, spending at least 34 minutes complaining how tired they are – compared to 22 minutes on other days of the week. Sounds like a good argument for a four-day work week.
