It looks like Bachelor Nation is pretty lukewarm on Arie Luyendyk and his quest for love. Season 22 of "The Bachelor" premiered on Monday and the numbers are in. About 5.5-million viewers tuned in, which is a 29% drop from last season. 

Sure, the premiere aired on New Year's Day, which means it competed with the Sugar Bowl, but the season 21 premiere, which followed Bachelor Nick Viall, only aired a day later on January 2nd.
